По его возвращению он убит его женой Клитэймнестрой и ее возлюбленным Эйджистосом. Но тогда Клитэймнестра становится неудобной. THE STORY SO FAR: In order to get wind in his sails on embarking the Trojan War, King Agamemnon had to sacrificed his youngest daughter Ifigenia to the gods. Upon his return he is murdered by his wife Clytaimnestra and her lover Aigisthos. But then Clytaimnestra becomes uneasy. What if her three remaining children, Elektra, Chrysothemis or Orestes, want vengeance for their father’s death? IT BEGINS. Maids are cleaning the palace court- yard and gossiping about how moody Elektra has been since the murder of her father Agamemnon. In solitude Elektra prays to her father and swears to avenge his death. It was to this place, the palace courtyard, that her mother and Aigisthos dragged Agamemnon’s lifeless body after murdering him in the bath. Elektra’s younger sister Chrysothemis turns up and interrupts Elektra and begs her to stop think- ing of vengeance. Can’t they just live happy, normal lives ? Their mother approaches. Chrysothemis leaves, Elektra remains. SACRIFICE A SINFUL WOMAN Elektra’s mother Clytaimnestra begs her daughter for help. She’s on the verge of collapse from worry and wants to appease the gods with a sacrifice of her own. Elektra asks her to sacrifice a sinful woman. "But what shall bleed”, asks the mother. "Your own neck !” threatens Elektra. Her sister Chrysothemis returns with terrible news: Orestes is dead. Elektra now demands that Chrysothemis helps her kill their mother and Aigisthos, but Chrysothemis refuses. Elektra digs up the axe that was used to murder their father. THE PLOT ELEKTRA – THE STORY OF THE WORLD’S MOST DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY? A stranger approaches and asks for Clytaimnestra and Aigisthos. He tells Elektra that he brings news of Orestes’s death, but then whispers in her ear that he is actually alive. Elektra, overwhelmed by her feelings, begins to tell the stranger where to find her mother. He interrupts her and asks: "Does Elektra not recognise her own brother ?” – He is Orestes. Orestes now enters the palace and Elektra listens breathlessly outside. Soon we hear Clytaimnestra’s death cry. Elektra shows Aigisthos into the palace and he soon meets the same fate. Elektra’s struggle is over. She thanks the gods and launches into a frenzied dance.

Младшая сестра Электры Кризозэмис появляется и прерывает Электру и просит ее останавливаться, думают - луг мести. Они не могут только жить счастливыми, нормальными жизнями? Их подходы матери. Кризозэмис уезжает, Электра остается. ПОЖЕРТВУЙТЕ матерью ГРЕХОВНОЙ ЖЕНЩИНЫ ЭЛЕКТРЫ КЛИТЭЙМНЕСТРОЙ, просит ее дочери помощи. Она находится на грани краха от беспокойства и хочет успокоить богов с собственной жертвой. Электра просит, чтобы она пожертвовала греховной женщиной. "Но что должно кровоточить”, спрашивает мать. "Ваша собственная шея!” угрожает Электре. Ее сестра Кризозэмис возвращается с ужасными новостями: Орестес мертв. Электра теперь требует, чтобы Кризозэмис помог ей убить их мать и Эйджистоса, но Кризозэмис отказывается. Электра вскапывает топор, который использовался, чтобы убить их отца. ЗАГОВОР ЭЛЕКТРА – ИСТОРИЯ В МИРЕ БОЛЬШАЯ ЧАСТЬ НЕБЛАГОПОЛУЧНОЙ СЕМЬИ? Незнакомец приближается и просит Клитэймнестру и Эйджистоса. Он прерывает ее и спрашивает: "Разве Электра не признает своего собственного брата?” – Он - Орестес. Орестес теперь входит во дворец, и Электра слушает затаив дыхание снаружи. Скоро мы слышим предсмертный крик Клитэймнестры. Электра показывает Эйджистосу во дворец, и он скоро встречает ту же самую судьбу. Борьба Электры закончена. Она благодарит богов и начинает бешеный танец.

La Fura dels Baus
The Catalan dramatic art collective La Fura dels Baus (The Polecat from Les Baux-de-Provence) was founded in 1979 and has its artistic roots in urban street performances. The collective experienced an international breakthrough when they staged the opening ceremony of the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992. Ever since, they have continued to create spectacular artistic projects around the globe. Every production places great emphasis on the architecture of the performance site, and the performances are staged in close collaboration with local actors and residents.
